This opportunityis ideal for a pharmacist seeking locum tenens work, a seasonal opportunity, or flexibility between permanent roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify physician orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness
• Compound and dispense IV medications in compliance with USP <797> and <800>
• Monitor patient therapy and collaborate with home health nurses and care teams
• Provide drug information and patient counseling as needed
• Oversee regulatory compliance and quality assurance in daily operations
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Support and guide pharmacy technicians and other staff as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy
• Active and unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist license
• At least 2 years of experience in sterile compounding or infusion pharmacy
• Prior experience in home infusion or hospital-based infusion setting preferred
• Familiarity with home infusion software (CPR+ or similar is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
